Acrylic paint, oil pastel, gold leaf, mixed media The unconscious creates a world of its own within our minds but out of our control. Paralleled to the conscious experience, this dreamscape explores imagery from the artist’s dreams and nightmares. Dark themes such as teeth and burning houses are juxtaposed by garish neon paints, gold leaf and picturesque landscape motifs, creating an off-putting dreamscape.
